How can I complete a PDF form?

Using iPhone  the Built-in Markup Tool (iOS 15 and later)

Open the PDF:
  • Via Email or Files App: If the PDF is in an email or the Files app, tap on it to open.
  • Via Safari or Other Apps: If you’re viewing it in a web browser or another app, look for an option to “Open in” or “Share” and select the Files app or a compatible app.
  1. Use Markup Tool:
    • Open in Markup: Once the PDF is open, tap the screen to reveal the Markup toolbar. Tap the Markup icon (a pen tip inside a circle) if it's not already visible.
    • Fill Out Forms:
      • Text Fields: Tap on the text field you want to fill out. A keyboard will appear, allowing you to enter your information.
      • Checkboxes & Radio Buttons: Tap on the checkbox or radio button to select it.
      • Other Annotations: Use the pen, highlighter, or shapes to add additional notes or draw on the PDF.
  2. Save Your Changes:

  1. Download the App:
    • If you haven’t already, download the Adobe Acrobat Reader app from the App Store.

  4. Save and Share:
    • After completing the form, tap the Save icon or Share to send it via email, save it to your device, or upload it to cloud storage.

Tips

By following these steps, you can easily fill out and manage PDF forms directly on your iPhone.
