Career and Technical Education (CTE) is an educational program that aligns academic standards with technical knowledge and skills to prepare students for careers in current or emerging occupations and further education. CTE is the only educational program in which course content is guided by business and industry input.

Career Development & Workforce Essentials
With so much going on in the world today, focused career decision making is more important than ever. In this course we will explore the elements to consider when choosing a career pathway.

People skills can help you stand out in the workplace and are highly desired by employers.  In this series of self-paced online courses you will be introduced to new people skills that can be applied in the workplace and help you to achieve career success.

Cybersecurity
Examine the essentials of computer security, including risk management, the use of encryption, activity monitoring, intrusion detection; and the creation and implementation of security policies and procedures to aid in security administration.

Certified Nurse/s Aide (CNA)
As a CNA, you will be an important part of Hawaii’s health care, with knowledge and skills that are always in demand. Our CNA training program prepares students with the information and the experience needed to become a Nurse Aide who can provide quality care for residents and kupuna in long-term care facilities, hospitals, home health care and hospice settings.

Veterinary Technology
The three-year hybrid program is ideal for students who wish to complete their veterinary technology training while they continue working in a veterinary facility. Students complete their lecture courses online and attend in-person labs.
