This course provides bits and pieces of information on cultural nuances, Korean language, tradition and food.  In short, information on things that get lost in translation so you can get more out of your K-Drama viewing experience.  Come and find out why they always eat tofu after someone gets out of jail in K-Drama.

Crystal Suh
Crystal Suh earned her Bachelor’s degree from UH Manoa in Administration in Travel Industry Management. She is currently th Office Manager and Program Director at KBFD-TV where she has been for nearly 10 years. Suh oversees daily office operations and manages scheduling and promotion of all programs. She has also produced the local shows, “At the Cinema” and “Joy of Dining.”
Suh is fluent in written and conversational Korean and was an instructor with the Hawaii Department of Education and has also worked as a freelance translator, providing her services for documentary, drama and news programs.
