Captains Course: Masters Upgrade (Lecture)

The course utilizes the USCG-approved Mariner's Learning System in a blended classroom and digital format. Course includes topics of seamanship, navigation, maritime law and includes an introduction to Hawaiian culture, ecology and hospitality as it relates to commercial boating.
Introduction to Photovoltaic Design and Installation:
Mon. & Wed., 4/6-5/15, 5:00 - 7:30 pm, (16 mtgs.)

Basics of electricity, principles of solar irradiance and irradiation, and PV System components/configurations will be covered. This introductory course is also designed to teach individuals how to physically install solar panels and components on a roof deck.
Play In Clay
Mon. & Wed., 4/6-5/13, (12 mtgs.) 6:00 - 8:00pm

An open ceramic studio for community people. Lab assistants will help teach the basics of preparing clay, the potter’s wheel, and hand building techniques.
